We offer advice on integrated conservation of the built environment, from foundations to roof. Many questions can be answered directly; others may need some research, but we can help you.

We will try to help you by phone during office hours. If issues come up at other times, you can always send an e-mail to our advisory service. Preferably include photographs because they make it easier to give advice.

Visit us and get advice
You can just drop in to see us during opening hours. We may be able to give you advice straight away, depending on who is working that day. It is probably best to make an appointment for advice, to be sure that we have the time to help you. When you’ve booked an appointment, we have plenty of time to go through your questions without rushing - up to 45 minutes. Bring along drawings, sketches and photos. The best part is that all this is free - advice at Nääs never costs you anything.
We can visit you
We can also come and look at your house and give advice in the form of notes that you can use during future work. This service is not free, however; we charge a commission tariff, plus a mileage allowance. A review of your house, post-processing and drawing up a report usually takes one working day altogether.

Chico Hovedskov Crafoord

Chico gives advice on general building preservation and specialised areas such as energy and insulation, ventilation, foundations and drainage, paint, fungus and mould damage.
