Course premises
Most courses are held in the old craft premises in Slöjdseminariet. These are craft rooms with an atmosphere from the 19th century. Some courses take place outdoors next to the craft rooms. Other courses are based on interesting properties or ongoing renovation projects at other places in West Sweden. The course programme gives more information about the current course locations, and you are welcome to contact us with questions.
Language
Our courses are held in swedish.
Times
Most of the courses are at weekends: Friday to Sunday, Saturday to Sunday or just one day. The normal hours for weekend courses are 10.00-17.00. When courses start on Fridays, they start at 13.00. Times and dates for each course are found in the course descriptions.
Board and lodging
Coffee and lunches are always included in our courses. Any exceptions are clearly stated in the course descriptions. If the course is at Nääs, we have a light lunch at Nääs Slottskafé & Restaurang. If the course is elsewhere, we will arrange lunch locally. Parking permits also apply when parking at the restaurant.
You can book accommodation at Nääs Slott, at Nääs Fabriker Hotell & Restaurang or at Öijareds resort. Aspenäs Herrgård is another option, in Lerum. See the links below.
Parking
A parking permit is included in the information material sent out shortly before the course starts, which is valid for the days of the course. Put it inside the windscreen of your car.
The area around Nääs has several car parks, all of which charge for parking where you can park. The courses are usually held in Slöjdseminariet and nearest car park are by Källnääs. If you drive to Nääs Slott for lunch, the parking permit applies there too.

When you have registered
A confirmation of your course registration will be sent after you have registered. You will receive a reminder and more information about 3 weeks before the course starts. Sometimes there are not enough registrations for an upcoming course, in which case we will contact you. Many people want to stay on the list and wait for more registrations. If the course is not carried out due to low numbers, you can stay on the list and we will send you information about the new course times.
