Course premises
Most courses are held in the historic craft rooms of Slöjdseminariet, which exude a 19th-century atmosphere. Some courses take place outdoors, adjacent to these craft rooms. Other courses are based at interesting properties or ongoing renovation projects throughout West Sweden. The course program provides more information about the current course locations, and you are welcome to contact us with any questions.
Language
Our courses are held in swedish.
Times
Most courses are held on weekends: Friday to Sunday, Saturday to Sunday, or just one day. The usual hours for weekend courses are 10:00-17:00. Courses that start on Fridays begin at 13:00. Specific times and dates for each course can be found in the course descriptions.
Board and lodging
Coffee and lunches are always included in our courses, unless otherwise stated in the course descriptions. If the course is at Nääs, we provide a light lunch at Nääs Slottskafé & Restaurang. For courses held elsewhere, we arrange lunch locally. Parking permits are also valid when parking at the restaurant.
You can book accommodation at Nääs Slott, Nääs Fabriker Hotell & Restaurang, or Öijareds Resort. Aspenäs Herrgård in Lerum is another option. See the links below.
Parking
A parking permit is included in the information material sent out shortly before the course starts, valid for the duration of the course. Please place it inside your car’s windscreen.
The area around Nääs has several car parks, all of which charge for parking. The courses are usually held in Slöjdseminariet, with the nearest car park being by Källnääs. If you drive to Nääs Castle for lunch, the parking permit is valid there as well.

When you have registered
A confirmation of your course registration will be sent after you have registered. You will receive a reminder and more information about 3 weeks before the course starts. Sometimes there are not enough registrations for an upcoming course, in which case we will contact you. Many people want to stay on the list and wait for more registrations. If the course is not carried out due to low numbers, you can stay on the list and we will send you information about the new course times.
