Exhibitions

Building maintenance, handicraft and sustainable materials and methods. Here you will find inspiration, solid advice and tips!

In our exhibition hall you will find the Product Fair where selected suppliers and producers exhibit sustainable products for the house. Another part of the exhibition is the Materials Library, where you can feel about healthy materials, ideal for handicrafts and building maintenance, and learn more about them. In Behind the facades, you can feel and study three full-scale models of roofs with insulation, timber wall with windows and croft foundation and timber wall with clay lining and earthen bench.

Every summer there is also a temporary exhibition. Below you will find information about several of them.

Där fantasin bor / Where the imagination lives

Do you remember your childhood playhouse or a hut in a tree? Or maybe you have built a cottage for your child or grandchild? This exhibition about playhouses and huts were originally made for Slöjd & Byggnadsvård at Nääs, Lerum. The exhibition deals with the playhouse as a place for play and memories since the late 1800s, but also a place where children can be involved in heritage and construction issues.
