Guided tours/introduction: 
During opening hours there is a free introduction of around 15 minutes (book in advance). We charge for lectures; please contact us for more information.

How long is a "normal visit"?
About 40 minutes

How many visitors can we take at the same time? 
Maximum 40 people.

Do we serve coffee?
We can offer coffee if you book in advance. There is a café and restaurant in the area.

Shopping options: 
Our shop has many different products in crafts and building preservation, such as natural insulation materials, linseed oil paints, tools, implements, wool and books. We strive to sell only high quality goods that are locally produced.

Access for buses:  
There is a large parking area next to the building.

How to get here:
Drive along the E20 to exit 89 for Nääs Slott in Floda. Turn right along the avenue to the castle. Just before a bridge over lake Sävelången, turn left towards a large dark red building - Källnääs. There are large signs for Slöjd & Byggnadsvård on the gable end.

Is there a separate place for the driver?
The driver can have some privacy in our staff kitchen on the second floor.

Brief description of the entrance, toilet and restaurant (in relation to each other): 
There is a toilet in the building. There are toilets for disabled people about 100 metres from the building. The restaurant is about 700 metres from here, and the café about 200 metres.

How much do visitors need to walk, indoors and outdoors? 
Very little inside the building, and from the bus parking area it is about 100 metres to the entrance.
